This week one of my friends held a party to combine the celebration of his move to a new house and the Mexican fiesta of Cinco de Mayo. Until a few years ago I had never heard of this festival, and as it seems to be getting more popular each year I thought I’d look into its origins, so this week’s article is a kind of history lesson.

Marc Ames Sandin graduates from New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI), in Roswell, NM, on May 16, 2003 with an associate's degree, the rank of 1st Lieutenant, and gained the position of platoon leader.

It’s Spring and I’m happy to be spending a week’s holiday in England. The weather is glorious, blossom is on the trees, the daffodils and tulips are in full bloom, and lambs are gamboling in the fields. It’s also Easter and the shops are full of chocolate eggs and bunnies and hot cross buns.
Wini-Marie Lyons will be graduating from Loyola University Law School at the end of May.
Greer Barlow has successfully completed her BSc with honors in Midwifery from South Bank University in London, England. She will be attending her graduation ceremony in April 2003.
Stephan Michael Stockenberger will graduate from San Marcos Baptist Academy in San Marcos, Texas on May 18, 2003. Mike attended San Marcos Academy from 2000 to 2003 after graduating from Dhahran Junior High School. He attended school in Dhahran from 1991 to 2000.
