Perina was born on the family farm in Lemoore, CA. the 5th of 7 kids. She cut fruit from age 8 with her mom and sisters to buy her 2 annual school dresses. Her dad and brothers were always in the fields.

Dr. George M. Myers, petroleum engineer originally from Texas but who became a resident of the world through his work travels, died in New York City on February 23, 2022, at the age of 94 years. George is survived by his wife, Adela (nee Escudero), his children, Jorge and Lorna, his grandsons, Kyle and Kaleb and his brother, Tom.

On February 3, 2022 Heaven admitted a wonderful new resident, Philip Joseph Halpin Jr. At 91 years of age Phil passed gently on to be with our Lord. No doubt “Fairway Phil” is having a loving reunion with his beloved wife, Joan Halpin and his beloved daughter Siobhan Halpin.

Having been interested in rocks from a young age, (his family saying was that he had rocks in his head, and in his pockets) he graduated from Amherst College class of 1952 with a degree in Geology.

He was born on September 7, 1933 in Houston, Texas to Sophia Wadsworth Acord and Herbert Kenneth Acord. Kent grew up in Houston and graduated from Jeff Davis High School. In 1955 as a student in Austin at the University of Texas, he met and married the love of his life, Janet (Kitsie) Cleaves.

She was a resident of Concordia Village in independent living for over 10 years and enjoyed reading and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Aileen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill (March 18, 2009), her parents, and her brother, Robert Stanley.
