Anne Gadberry peacefully passed away on June 19, 2022 to join her husband, Ron L. Gadberry. The couple always said that their Aramco Saudi years were some of the best years of their lives! They were grateful for all the friends and experiences they had during their overseas time.

Born July 23, 1933 to Lester and Dorothy Snyder in Berkeley, CA, Miles spent his childhood and teenage years in Berkeley, San Francisco, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and Stamford, CT, where he graduated from high school in 1951.

Jawed Anwar (retired), 72, passed away fighting multiple health complications courageously on June 16, 2022 surrounded by his family of 5 daughters and a wife at Jurivanski Cancer Hospital in Hamilton (ON), Canada. He was born on December 29, 1949 in Lahore, Pakistan and completed his engineering degree at UET. He worked as a petroleum engineer at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and in the USA for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Allison and husband, Sean Dobson; son, Hank and wife, Joy; and son, Robert. Henry has six grandchildren, Jacob and Liam Dobson of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Joey, Mia, Heinz and Abbie Williams of Spanish Fort, Ala.

Doris passed away peacefully on June 7, 2022 after a sudden illness. She was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Lena Dal Bello, and the loving sister of Mary (Tom) Shea and Diana Szostak (Frank – deceased). She is predeceased by her sisters Jean (Roy) Woodward, Burma (Bob) Krompass, Elsie (Tom) Milledge and brother Bruce (Sharon) Dal Bello.
Liam Smith
Liam (William) Smith, died, aged 72, at his home in Taillecavat, France on 6th June 2022 after a short illness. He originally came from Scotland, and worked with Aramco for over 30 years, from 1980 until he retired in 2011, when he moved to France.
