Michael Charles Johnston, avid cyclist and plein air artist, died peacefully at home in Stratham, New Hampshire on March 2 at the age of 75. Over the last decades of his life, Michael could be spotted on long rides along the backroads and byways of the Seacoast, pausing to capture whatever scenes caught his eye using his favorite medium, Japanese brush and ink.

George is survived by his wife, Adela (nee Escudero), his children, Jorge and Lorna, his grandsons, Kyle and Kaleb and his brother, Tom.

Perina was born on the family farm in Lemoore, CA. the 5th of 7 kids. She cut fruit from age 8 with her mom and sisters to buy her 2 annual school dresses. Her dad and brothers were always in the fields.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the Living Water Church in Groesbeck (308 N. Leon St.), with Pastor George Ibarra officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

He was born April 8, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York to Ralph and Josephine (Chianese) Barracano He graduated from Towsend Harris High School in Manhattan at age 16. In 1943, he enlisted in the Army and served in both the Infantry and the Signal Corps.

On February 3, 2022 Heaven admitted a wonderful new resident, Philip Joseph Halpin Jr. At 91 years of age Phil passed gently on to be with our Lord. No doubt “Fairway Phil” is having a loving reunion with his beloved wife, Joan Halpin and his beloved daughter Siobhan Halpin.

Charles Richard "Dick" Maise, was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 1, 1930, a date that his family has always credited (or blamed) for his sense of humor. He was 91. He grew up in Belleville, NJ. Having been interested in rocks from a young age, (his family saying was that he had rocks in his head, and in his pockets) he graduated from Amherst College class of 1952 with a degree in Geology.

Sarah "Sally" Curran joined the love of her life, her husband of 40+ years, Thomas "Tom" Curran on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Sally was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. She earned a nursing degree and took a nursing position with Aramco in Saudi Arabia. It was there that she met Tom.

Herbert Kenneth Acord, Jr.

Herbert Kenneth (Kent) Acord, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022. He was born on September 7, 1933 in Houston, Texas to Sophia Wadsworth Acord and Herbert Kenneth Acord. Kent grew up in Houston and graduated from Jeff Davis High School. In 1955 as a student in Austin at the University of Texas, he met and married the love of his life, Janet (Kitsie) Cleaves.
