Richard A. Ullmann
On June 30, 2022, Richard Ullmann passed away at the age of 94 with his family by his side. He was laid to rest at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, NH with his wife of 61 years Johanna Ullmann (1925-2017).
Richard lived a very active and full life. He grew up in Lynbrook and Brooklyn, NY. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II and once discharged, he began his career in 1950 with Aramco in the Accounting Department transferring to Saudi Arabia in 1952. Richard met Johanna in Dhahran and they were married in 1956 at the Vatican in Rome. They raised their four children in Dhahran and Holland and travelled most of the world together. Richard remained in Saudi Arabia until transferring to Holland in 1975. He worked for AOC in Holland until his retirement in1986. He and Johanna moved to Manchester, NH and spent time travelling to and from their home in Jupiter, FL.
Richard was the devoted father and father-in-law of Richard Ullmann, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Robert and Ann Ullmann of Beverly, MA, Elizabeth Ullmann, Jennifer and Vincent McCarthy of Brighton, MA. Loving grandfather of Patrick, Lauren, William, and Victoria Ullmann, Amanda Price, and Hannah McCarthy and great grandfather of Anthony Price and Adalecia Thomas. A Graveside Service was held on July 11 in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
