He is survived by his wife Ann Mackie, stepdaughter Megan Payne (her husband Eric and two daughters Presley and Kylie), stepson Michael Dowdy, mother-in-law, Lois Travis, brother-in-law, Joseph Travis, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann.
