A mass of Christian burial for Mary will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 12175 Stringfellow Rd, Bokeelia, Florida 33992.
Richard Franklyn Holmes
Richard Franklyn "Dick" Holmes was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 20, 1921. He died on August 8, 2021, in his sleep at his home in Lafayette, California at age 100. His funeral services will be on Saturday, September 11th, at 11 AM at the LDS Chapel, which he proudly helped build and pay for, at 3776 Via Granada in Moraga.

Said Hassouna Ghachem, 79, of Houston, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2021 at Memorial Hermann Hospital Houston Medical Center in the presence of all five of his children and his wife.
Shirley D. Losch
Shirley D. Losch, loving mother, devoted wife and beloved friend, died on July 29, 2021, at her home in Palm City, FL. The mother of three cherished her children (Bill, Dave and Cathy), six grandchildren (Nicole, Paul, Emily, Matt, Elizabeth and Will) and six great grandchildren (Kaya, Gunnar, Jasper, Malcom, Matilda and India Rose).

Bruce Flagler Simmons (aka Tractorman), of Accord, N.Y. – husband, father, brother, teacher, singer, conductor, farmer, and restorer of antique tractors – passed away on July 27, 2021, at the age of 78. Bruce grew up in Dutchess County, NY and graduated from Pine Plains High School.

Phillip Norman Murray, 60, of Arpelar, died Monday, July 26, 2021 in Arpelar. The family will greet friends and visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Clint Gray. Burial will follow at Arpelar Cemetery.
Robert Rawls
Robert (Bob) Rawls, age 74, passed away July 26, 2021. He was born February 17, 1947 in Florala the son of Rufus Rawls and Ruth King Rawls. Bob joined the U.S. Army and faithfully served his country in Vietnam. After serving his country he worked as an electrical engineer working for Saudi Aramco in the oil industry until retiring to take care of his wife Susan in 2007.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Katherine Mosner Wyland and by his 3 children Kathy Wyland and spouse, Betsy W. Shively, Robert Wyland and spouse, and 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Horace "Jay" Augustus Braggins, Jr., 97, of New Port Richey, FL passed away at the Medical Center of Trinity on Sunday, June 27, 2021. The cause of death was congestive heart failure, with pneumonia and complications from Covid-19.
