Don C. Poulson
Don Chastain Poulson, 73, an engineer whose career took him halfway around the world but who always called Virginia his home, died peacefully April 30, 2011, in Staunton, surrounded by his family. In 1979 Mr. Poulson accepted a position in engineering and project management with the Arabian American Oil Co., and moved with his wife and three sons to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where he worked the next 15 years.

Beloved Gamil Nassif Takla, M.D., FRCS, born in Assyut, Egypt to Nassif Younan Takla and Victoria Riskalla Maghar on Sept. 15, 1925. He passed away at the age of 85 on Monday, April 25, 2011, after a courageous three-year battle with quadriplegia
Remembering Paul R. Clark, Sr.
Paul R. Clark, Sr., 81, a resident of Sacramento, California, and a former resident of Lowell, died Friday, April 22, 2011, at his home. In 1952, Paul joined ARAMCO (Arabian/American Oil Company) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia serving as the company's Vice President. In 1956, Paul was in The Hague working as a project engineer for a six year term. He would ultimately spend more than 30 years with ARAMCO.
Gus Joseph Elbert III
Gus Joseph Elbert III, 75, of Hedgesville, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at his residence. Born June 23, 1935 in Elyria, Ohio, he was the son of the late Gus Joseph Elbert, Jr. and Virginia May Wicker Elbert. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and retired from ARAMCO as a systems analyst with 20 years of service in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Abdul-Rahman Ragheb Abdul-Rahman passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 11:15 AM in Amman, Jordan with his family by his side. He was 88 years old. He worked for Aramco in the Auditing Department in Dhahran and as an Internal Auditor for 33 years, from 1950 to 1983.
