John Fannin
The family and friends of John Harold Fannin are sad to announce his passing following a brief illness. John was to all who knew him the supreme "Gentle Man" whose generosity knew no bounds. His friends are from all walks of life from the top of the ladder to first rung. John lived in Abqaiq with his parents Harold and Kay Fannin from the early 50s and continued to visit the town and them until the late 60s. He graduated from 9th Grade in 1957 and from then on became the ultimate Returning Student.
George "Bubba" Kent
Aramco Brat and Aramcon George "Bubba" Kent, Jr. passed away on June 18, 2010. His life was celebrated at a memorial in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia on June 25th with family and friends. A college fund is now in place for David and Derrick, the two sons of Bubba and his wife Shannon.
Eve Kritikson Lee
Eve Kritikson Lee passed away on June 8, 2010. Eve was born May 22, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. After growing up and attending school there, she began a career in the energy industry at Standard of Indiana. In 1952, she started an adventure by traveling to Saudi Arabia to work for the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO). During her twenty-five year career, she rose to a position as Executive Secretary.
William Lyn Benson
William Lyn Benson born July 1, 1929 passed away May 28, 2010. He is survived by his loving family; wife Patricia and two sons William Junior and Randy. William and his family were blessed with a long productive life and a wonderful marriage for 58 years.
John Onnen
John had a long and full life. At age 17 he enlisted in the United States Naval Air Force but was not called up to serve until after his high school graduation. After the navy he attended Iowa State College in Ames, Iowa, graduating with a BS in chemical engineering. In 1947 he wed Virginia Wise. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri and John worked with Mallinckrodt Chemical Company. In 1951 John joined the Arabian American Oil Company in New York.

Sue Barracano Passed Away on May 10, 2010
Sue Barracano, a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma passed on May 10, 2010. She was born on September 12, 1923 to Wortie May (Turner) and Charles H. Barlow in Okmulgee, OK. Shortly after World War II ended, she married Henry (Hank) Barracano, a G. I. from Brooklyn. In 1956, Hank accepted a job with the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO). During that period, the family lived in New York, Saudi Arabia, London and Beirut.
Gene William Heck
Gene William Heck was born in Fremont, Michigan on July 8, 1944 and passed away in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on April 21, 2010.
Joseph Anthony Mahon
MAHON, Joseph Anthony 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 15, at Suncoast Hospice, Woodside. Joe was born in Ardmore, PA, on Aug. 16, 1926. He earned degrees in Naval Science and Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and served in the U.S. Navy at Norfolk, VA. After graduation, he worked for Philadelphia Electric before moving to New York City to take a position with the Arabian American Oil Company (Aramco).
Henry Stewart Edgell
Stewart Edgell died at home suddenly on 13 April 2010 aged 82. He was born in Hobart in Tasmania, Australia.
Eugene L. Baker
Eugene L. Baker, 82, of Loyalsock Township, died April 1, 2010, at the Gatehouse following a two-year decline in health.
James “Dal” Martin
He transferred from Aramco Services Company to Aramco in 1979, departing in 1987.
