Reilly Alice Denyer has graduated from the American School in the Hague. Reilly is the granddaughter of Al and Pat Denyer who resided in Dhahran and Ras Tanura from 1980 until 1990.

Fionn Scott, grandson of Irene and Brian Dean who lived in Ras Tanura from 1978-1987 and 1991-2001, graduated from Holy Rosary High School in Lloydminster, Canada on Friday, June 24, 2022 and received a scholarship to attend Lakeland College. His mother, Paula Scott (Dean), resided in Ras Tanura from 1978 to 1987.

All Russell Husted needed was an opportunity to learn. After just one year at Denver Academy, he says, “It opened up a life for me that the world was closing down.” Now an educator himself, Russell has made a career of opening up opportunities for other students.
Brenda Neal, Aramco 1979-1986, will celebrate her 72nd birthday on June 8th. Brenda lived in Dhahran with her family. She worked as a Resource Analyst in a Community Services Department. Her husband, Gary Neal, worked for Aramco as an Engineer. Gary passed away in 2016.
Brian and Susan Bahr are pleased to announce the graduations of daughter Victoria (Tori) Bahr and son Xander Bahr. Both children were born in Saudi Arabia. Brian worked for Aramco from 1992 to 2009.
Kayla Vivian Otoo, an 8th Grader with the Dhahran School and a member of the BSA Dhahran Troop One Scouting Program earned her Eagle Scouting Rank on 5/10/2022. Kayla Otoo joined the Scouting Program in the 6th Grade and has been working alongside other scouts for the past few years.

Nicholas Reiersgard, DH 89-95 and 2003-2005, married Virginia London on April 1st, 2022 in Orlando, FL, where they make their home. Nicholas is the son of Dennis and Diane Reiersgard, DH 89-95 and 2003-2015.

Kim and Dave Shaner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 24th. They were married in Vietnam in 1972. The couple lived in RasTanura, Abqaiq and Udhailiyah from 1978 to retirement in 2003.
A historical adventure novel by Kevin McNeill, an Aramco retiree, and his son, David, an Aramco Brat, is being released in March by Blackstone Publishing. We came to Dhahran in 1991, when I joined the Engineering Department. David and his older brother, Michael, attended Aramco schools in Dhahran until I retired in 2002.

Al and Pat Denyer welcomed their third great-grandchild on November 27th, 2021 with the birth of Eleanor Kate Peper. This is the first girl. Al and Pat lived in Dhahran and Ras Tanura from 1980 To 1990.
Dear Aramcons and Brats Around the World, the last couple of years have been tough for all of us. Hafla 2020 had to be canceled after much hard work had been completed by John, Doreen, and their crew. I know we were all looking forward to visiting Colorado and seeing one another.

Carrie Cantwell moved to Dhahran in August, 1979 with her parents, Jack and Judy Cantwell. They lived in north camp, then main camp until 1982 when they moved to Dhahran Hills. Jack Cantwell worked for the Organizational Development Department, and Judy was a mental health counselor for Special Health Services.
A GoFundMe campaign has been created by loved ones in memory of Heather Boyes. Heather is the daughter of Terry and Margaret Boyes and sister to Scott Boyes. The family lived in Dhahran from 1980-2000.
Abdul-Karim G. Hedjazi and wife Sururul-Ain Ututalum Hedjazi celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 3, 2021 at home due to COVID-19. We were in Saudi Arabia for 21 years and retired in March 1994. We lived and worked in both Dahran and Ras Tanura.
