A mini Aramco Brat reunion was held Sunday, December 12th at Rocco's Tacos on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach, Florida. After dinner and drinks, we all went to see the 700 ton Christmas Sandi Tree at dockside. A fun time was had reconnecting with many embellished Aramco stories told.

Tavy Sandin shared the following pictures of the first community Christmas tree in Dhahran. The pictures, taken in the very early '50s, are of the building of the first tree in the 7th St. Christmas Tree Circle. Tavy writes, "My dad, H.L. "Sandin" and his neighbors, one being Chuck Mathews, were responsible for the design and building of the tree. This all began about 1952 when the residents decided to enter the 7-unit portion of the Company-held competition for best Christmas decorations.

The piping network at the King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services megaproject in Ras Al-Khair is huge, consisting of more than 300 km of utility piping systems. As part of Aramco’s strategy to promote nonmetallic materials to combat corrosion and utilize crude for petrochemicals conversion, the project management team evaluated various nonmetallic systems during the project’s design stage, with support from the Consulting Services Department.

Saudi Arabian Oil Company (“Aramco”) has signed a $15.5 billion lease and leaseback deal involving its gas pipeline network with a consortium led by BlackRock Real Assets (“BlackRock”) and Hassana Investment Company (“Hassana”), the investment management arm of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) in Saudi Arabia, in one of the world’s largest energy infrastructure deals.
