Glen Leslie Curtis
Glen Leslie Curtis was born on August 6, 1932, in Riverside, California. He was extremely premature at less than 3 pounds and was no bigger than his father’s hand. In those days, a baby born that was premature rarely survived – but after a 6-month hospital stay, Glen survived, grew, and ultimately thrived. He lived to be 90 years old, passing away in his sleep on May 22, 2023, in St. George, Utah.
Thomas Kimble
Mr. Thomas "Gary" Kimble, 85 years old, passed away on Friday May 19, 2023, in St. George, Utah. He resided in the Southern Utah Veterans Home since November 2018. Born in Silver City, New Mexico June 12, 1937, to Thomas William Kimble and Mary Catherine Moyer. He was married to Alta Lee Goforth McCain- celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary in February of this year.
William Edwin Jewell
William "Bill" Edwin Jewell, 80, of Baltimore, passed away Friday, May 19th with his family by his side from advanced lung cancer at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, Maryland. William was born in Oakland, CA, where his family lived before settling in Ridgewood, NJ, and ultimately relocating to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where his father was employed as an executive with Aramco.
Glenn Karl Jones
Glenn Karl Jones passed May 18, 2023 in Illinois on his way to his favorite ham radio convention. He was born in Houston, Texas on November 2, 1951. He and his twin sister, Glenna, had that special "twin" relationship and felt each other's happiness and pain.
Elsa Ellen Metting
Following a long, full life, our mother passed on May 16, 2023. Elsa Ellen (Pekkanen) Metting arrived on August 7, 1924, in Poland, Ohio, the seventh of eight children born to Edwin and Alena (Namie) Pekkanen who emigrated from Finland in the 19th century.

On the evening of May 12, 2023, Virginia, 96, passed away in Austin, Texas in the presence of family. Born in a farm house in Sawyer County, Wisconsin, Virginia was the youngest of five children. Her parents were Lawrence Anthony Wise and Olga Goffin Wise. The family lived on the farm until 1930, when they moved to Ladysmith, Wisconsin.
