Frank Jungers

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Frank Jungers. Mr. Jungers was a former President, CEO and Chairman of Aramco. He served the Company for more than three decades from 1947-1978, during which he was a pioneer involved in many of the Company’s historical moments.

Thomas C. Petren

Thomas C. Petren, 82, longtime resident of Lanoka Harbor, passed away on October 10, 2023 at his home. Tom was born in Newark, NJ and had lived in Lanoka Harbor since 1971. He graduated from Kean University with a B.S. in Mathematics and received his Master's Degree in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Husayn A. Rashid

Dr. Husayn A. Rashid was born in Jerusalem in 1938. Although surrounded by a close and loving family, his childhood was not easy. At the age of 10, he saw his family lose the house that his father, a mason, built himself.

Richard Marshall

28 March 1956 - 1 October 2023

Richard "Rick" Marshall, age 67, of Branson, Missouri, passed away October 1, 2023. He entered this life on March 28, 1956, the son of Walter and Ruby (Holt) Marshall in Kansas City, Missouri. Rick was joined in marriage to Christine Patricia Brewer (nee: Wojtan) on August 17, 1991.

Lawrence Barnes

Lawrence (Larry) Barnes passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 100. Larry joined Aramco in 1947 as an electrical engineer. He held many positions during his thirty years with Aramco, and was the Superintendent of Transportation when he retired in 1977.

David Henry Morris

Dr. David Henry Morris, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and his cherished wife on Friday, September 22, 2023. He graduated from Paschel High School in Fort Worth, TX in 1961 and received his BS from Texas Wesleyan University in 1963, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity.

Odell Leo Bratland

22 October 1927 - 19 September 2023

Odell Leo Bratland, age 95, of Chanhassen, and formerly of Spring Grove, MN, passed away on Sept. 19, 2023, at St. Francis Regional Hospital in Shakopee, MN. He was born on Oct. 22, 1927, in Wilmington Twp., rural Spring Grove to Albert and Hannah (Solberg) Bratland.

Richard Lawrence O'Keeffe

Richard Lawrence O'Keeffe passed away on September 19, 2023. He worked in Aramco as an Instrument Engineer in Ras Tanura and Juaymah Gas Plant from 1981 to 1991. He was known as a member of the Eastern Province Road Runners, and Ras Tanura Darts Team.

Farrel Dame

Retired Chief Petty Officer Farrel "Gene" Dame, 86, of Shiloh, Illinois passed away September 12, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, O'Fallon, Illinois. Gene grew up on a farm in Southern Illinois and was known for being a sharpshooter as a young teenager.

Ferdinand Wellman

Ferdinand "Jim" Wellman, born March 19, 1932, in Lafayette, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2023. A man of exemplary character and versatility, Jim's life was marked by service, ingenuity, and a profound love for his community and family.

Josephine Haywood

Josephine (Jo) Haywood passed away following a long illness on 30 August 2023. She and her husband Charles (Chas) were part of the Aramco community during the 1970s and '80s, departing in '91 for the UK. They were also affiliated with the LDS group.

Juliette Bartlett

For our irreplaceable Mum, A lovely, vibrant, incredibly brave woman, Juliette was willing to leave New York, where she worked, to travel to Saudi Arabia, with William R. Bartlett (our father). Mum always loved travel and thought the experience was everything she dreamed of – to explore other countries and cultures – and always to learn.
