Engr. Syed Naushad Shah Receives Prestigious Award from his Alma Mater

University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore is one of the prestigious institutions of Pakistan for Technological Excellence and is at par with other renowned universities of the world. Engr. Syed Naushad Shah spent 5 years at this institution, from 1994 to 1999, and completed his degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics and Communications.

After almost 2 decades, the university celebrated its 100 years of excellence and the Government of Pakistan has officially printed 75 rupees currency denomination notes and 100 rupees metallic coins , in order to acknowledge its existence and importance in the year 2022. Engr. Syed Naushad Shah was awarded this memento in honor of being an “UETIAN / ALUMNI”.

The memento contains 100-years commemorative silver coins and special currency notes printed by the central bank of Pakistan along with commemorative postal stamps published by the GPO Pakistan on its 75th anniversary.

Engr. Syed Naushad Shah is the son of Syed Yousaf Shah, Badge #71533, who worked for Aramco for more than two decades in the Department of Administration. He died in active employment in 1978.
