Merle R. Frye
Oberhausen, Germany - Merle R. Frye, formerly of Abqaiq, died here Nov. 14, 1960. Surviving him are his widow Else, a son Wolfgang, 17, and a daughter Inge, 10. Frye had left Abqaiq, Aug. 14, 1960, for special medical treatment in the United States, after which he had come here with his family for recuperation.
At the time of his departure from Abqaiq Frye was Supervising Warehouseman, Materials Supply and Traffic division, Materials Supply and Community Services department, Abqaiq. He had originally joined Aramco Jan. 29, 1952, after having completed a three-year period of service with Mid-Continent Petroleum Corporation of Tulsa, Okla. He was hired by Aramco as a Lead Cargo Checker, Purchase and Stores division, Abqaiq, and all of his Aramco service time was spent in Abqaiq.
Mrs. Frye plans to remain here until her son is graduated from Rosenberg School in Switzerland. Following his graduation, she and the two children will return to the United States. Her address here is Schenkendorftstrasse 76, (22a) Oberhausen-Rheinland, West Germany.
