Ken Scott
Ken Scott passed away peacefully on the Thursday 23rd December 2010 having only gone into hospital that morning.
Ken's professional skills were in heavy haulage and he spent the larger part of his working life at Pickfords, organising the movement of over-sized loads up and down the UK.
Ken joined Aramco in 1978 and was assigned to Abqaiq Transportation Department, where he enjoyed the added challenge of moving heavy loads and equipment in the harsh environment of Saudi Arabia. During his 7 years with Aramco he made many friends and enjoyed the company of both friends and colleagues before leaving in 1985 following the early and tragic death of his daughter Andrea.
He is survived by his wife Jess, daughter Nikki and son Iain. There was no funeral as Ken willed his body to Medical Science, which was accepted by St Andrews University. St. Andrews University holds a Communal Memorial Service in memory of all those who have donated their bodies and the service this year will be held on 20th. April 2011 and is open to all who wish to attend.
