In Memory of Lou Bryant
Louis L. Bryant, born June 21, 1933 in Stamford, Texas to Amos D. and Ella Mae Bryant, died August 12, 2010 in Austin, Texas.
Lou graduated from Ball High School in Galveston, Texas. He graduated from The United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1954.
He joined The U.S. Air Force and served as a pilot for 20 years, then flew passenger planes in Killeen until he was offered a job in Saudi Arabia flying for Aramco, which he did for eight years. He retired to the Hill Country in Burnet, Texas.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Ann Stanley Bryant; five children, LuAnn Porter of Austin, Texas, Mary Herron of Missouri, William Bryant of Austin, Phillip Bryant of Austin, and Richard Bryant of Austin; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Amos A. Bryant of Austin; and nieces and nephews.
He will be cremated and Memorial Services will be Saturday, 3:00 p.m., August 21, 2010 at the Clements-Wilcox Chapel in Burnet.
