Ann Loree Ogan Jesson, 64, of Greeley, died Monday, Oct. 3, in Tempe, Ariz. She was born Jan. 2, 1941 in Greeley.

Mrs. Jesson lived in Eaton and graduated from Eaton High School in 1958. She attended Colorado State College (now the University of Northern Colorado), graduating in 1962 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.

Ann taught school for 30 years in Greeley and for American International Schools in Taipei, Taiwan; Isfahan, Iran; Dubai, UAE; and ARAMCO, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Ann was an elementary school teacher at the Hill School. She and her husband retired from teaching and returned to the United States in 1996.

Her joys were family, traveling and keeping in contact with friends from all over the world.

Mrs. Jesson is survived by her husband, Bill S. Jesson; three sons, Robert A. Jesson of Manila, Philippines, Thomas A. Jesson and wife Allison of Phoenix, and Timothy R. Jesson of Tempe; a granddaughter, Teagan Emily Jesson of Phoenix; a sister, Idamarie O. Piccard and brother-in-law Lee A. Piccard of Anchorage, Alaska; brother-in-law, Robert R. Jesson and sister-in-law Peggy Sue Jesson of Sun City, Ariz.; five nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins. Her parents, R. Irvin Ogan and Mabel L. Ogan preceded her in death.

Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 8, at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Mesa.
