Irene E. Bevelhymer Pace passed away peacefully at home, under Hospice care with her loving son, Charles E. Jr., and daughter, Hattie Lee at her side on April 24, 2012, after along illness.
Robert "Wayne" Shurtliff
Aramco Annuitant, Robert “Wayne” Shurtliff, 59, passed away on April 23, 2012 surrounded by his family after a relentless battle with cancer. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 12, 1952 to Robert Davidson Shurtliff and Helen Abbott Shurtliff. He grew up in the Sugarhouse area, attending the University of Utah after graduation. While continuing his education, he met Diane Hess from Ashton, Idaho. They were married on September 13, 1974.
Rick Drucker
Derek (Rick) Drucker was born in Saudi Arabia, son of Fred H. Drucker and Jacqueline A. Drucker, brother to J. Eric Drucker and Laura Drucker. He grew up loving to camp in the deserts of Arabia, swimming, sailing and diving in the Persian Gulf. He spent six years in Beirut, Lebanon. It was an experience of living history in a land steeped in multicultural influences that induced a lifelong appreciation for different cultures and peoples. Everywhere he went, Rick found ways to connect with the people around him, leaving an imprint on all who met him.

With a heavy heart, Jack Krause announced that Aramco retiree Ann Krause passed away on April 16, 2012. He says, "we had over 56 good years together and she will be missed by all of us." Ann worked in the Aramco hospital in Dhahran.
Dr. Cecil Smith
Dr. Cecil Smith passed away on April 16, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Dorcas, and daughters, Suzanne and Sarah. He joined ARAMCO in 1954 and served as general surgeon at Dhahran Health Center retiring in 1981.
Bette Harris
Bette Harris, RT '54-'67 died peacefully and pain-free in her sleep in Asheville, North Carolina on April 15th, 2012 at 4:56 am at a hospice center after a brief illness. Her children had all recently visited with her.

(Robert) Barry Prescott passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was married to Pamela Prescott in 1968 in La Jolla, California. He worked at Ras Tanura Schools as a special reading instructor from 1984-2002.
Steven Allen Mayernik
The beloved husband of Susan Mayernik, Steven Allen Mayernik, passed away on April 11, 2012 at 1:05 A.M at the age of 67. He had been sick for about a month and a half and had been in intensive care for the last month of his life. Susan knew something was wrong but never ever dreamed it was life threatening and a week before he died they finally diagnosed him with bone cancer.

Terence Perry McMullen, 69, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Born in Modesto, California, son of the late Charles and Loma McMullen.
Charles E. Adams
Charles E. (Chuck) Adams passed away the morning of March 25, 2012 with Marianne and family nearby. He will be interred in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. With friends scattered around the world, a virtual memorial will be held in his memory.
