Indian Prime Minister's Letter to Amaan Younus

The following is my essay:

How can the youth empower themselves to change the education system.

In my opinion, the current education system is monotonous and aims mainly at educating us Indians only with basic strategies of life. In this new era, key purposes of modern education are to foster essential life skills, critical thinking, decision-making skills and analytical competencies in its learners as well as to facilitate a positive approach towards diversity, inclusion, compassion and a sense of responsibility in students. However, once a child finishes high school till 12th grade, he hasn't learned anything much that will help him face the cruel world. This applies mainly to middle and lower class families (which comprise 70% of Indian population) mostly who aren't financially stable and are in a dilemma that is either to acquire any white collar job with this basic education which is highly impossible (since they don't have any experience and no college degree) or just take up any blue collar job for making ends meet and try to enroll themselves in college to complete their education. I think that if the Government of India will provide top quality education that is in par with private schools and colleges to all classes of Indians regardless of their background then our future will definitely be bright and colorful.

In conclusion, we students are India's tomorrow. Therefore, it is best to completely change the way our education system works and this will do wonders for the coming generations. Molding young minds today will yield positive results tomorrow.

Thanks.

These achievements were only possible because of my parents’ support as well as my Grandfather’s (Mohammed Ifteqaruddin) encouragement to take part in extracurricular activities apart from my academics.
