Engr. Tanweer Ahmed is the youngest among ten brothers and sisters. At present, his son Usama Ahmed and he are in Pakistan visiting family after being away for six years. They live in Houston, Texas USA. Recently his elder brother Engr. Iqbal Hameed and sister Nasreen Jamal were retired after very successful professional careers. Tanweer came with a mission from the USA to celebrate the retirement of his elders who did a lot for him, as he is the kid brother and made him what he is today. He wanted to do something but in a different way. So he planned a surprise dinner party for Mohtarma Rehana Khatoon, Engr. Iqbal Hameed and Mohtarma Nasreen Jamal. His nephews, Bilal and Aiman, assisted him in inviting all of the guests.
A list was prepared of all the close relatives, friends and colleagues; their contact information was taken from the cell phones of Engr. Iqbal Hameed and Mohtarma Nasreen Jamal. The venue was decided to be at the “Ocean Grill “in Ocean Mall at Clifton Karachi on August 09, 2015 at 2200 Hours. All the guests were requested to keep it confidential. It was a great surprise for Mohtarma Rehana Khatoon, Engr. Iqbal Hameed, and Mohtarma Nasreen Jamal when they arrived at Ocean Grill.
Tanweer Ahmed welcomed all the guests and thanked them for the surprise party. Later Engr. Iqbal Hameed and Mohtarma Nasreen Jamal thank all the friends who came to greet them. A few friends and relatives spoke about their professional association with the retirees. Relatives and friends presented a lot of gifts to Iqbal Hameed and Nasreen Jamal. Finally, a delicious dinner was served and all the guests enjoyed it. The party was concluded after midnight with a thank you note by Engr. Tanweer Ahmed. We all wish Engr. Tanweer Ahmed a bright future and a prosperous happy life with his family in the USA.
