William S. Kelly

William S. Kelly, former Aramcon well known to Dhahran and the local community, died following a massive stroke last Sunday, Jan. 5, in Frankfurt, Germany. Kelly was on his way to Frankfurt on business assignment on behalf of the General Petroleum and Mineral Organization when he was suddenly taken ill.

Kelly came to Aramco in February 1952 and spent his entire career in the marketing aspect of company operations as a member of the Production Distribution Department, which after November 1965 was known as Domestic Marketing. He was coordinator, Operations and Marketing, at the time of he left Aramco in May 1967 to join Petromin as general manager, Petromin Marketing.

Surviving is his wife, the former Elsie Schubert, for many years secretary in Aramco's Government Relations and Treasurer's Organization.
