Lee Ann Sims
Lee Ann Sims, former “Aramco Brat”, passed away on January 19th in Portland, Oregon. Lee Ann attended Najmah School during her years in Ras Tanura, and high school at Wayland Academy, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
Lee Ann earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing. She was employed by Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland. Recently, Lee Ann retired after 37 years as Clinical Nurse Specialist. Over the years she had many hobbies that included kayaking, birdwatching, and gardening.
Lee Ann is survived by her parents, Keith L. Sims, former Manager of Northern Area Producing Maintenance, and Coila Sims, former employee in the Najmah Housing Office, long-time partner, Chris Mack, and sister and brother-in-law Shelly & Bill Foland, as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins.
