James Howard Steele
James Howard Steele died on December 16, 2023 in Dewitt County, Texas. James was born February 24, 1938 in Kingsville, Texas. He graduated from H. M. King High School in 1956.
James lived and worked in Houston, San Antonio and Austin, Texas as well as Alaska before he moved to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he was employed for twenty years by ARAMCO. He retired in 1997. He was most recently employed at JRTC Ft. Polk as a contract employee role player training Army troops prior to deployment overseas.
James was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Ida Mae Stuth Steele, sisters Anna Marie Buehrig and Patricia Ann Steele, and brothers Freddie J. Steele and Joe Charles Steele. He is survived by his sister, Mary Lou Simmons of Ingleside, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday March 9, 2024 at St Gertrude Catholic Church in Kingsville, Texas. Private burial will follow.
