Eve Kritikson Lee passed away on June 8, 2010.

Eve was born May 22, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. After growing up and attending school there, she began a career in the energy industry at Standard of Indiana. In 1952, she started an adventure that would characterize her life by traveling to Saudi Arabia to work for the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO). During her twenty-five year career, she rose to a position as Executive Secretary.

Eve loved travel and spent her free time traveling extensively. Eve was a writer and avid photographer, creating many travelogues of her excursions. Eve was also known for her skills as a gracious hostess at the numerous parties she gave for her wide circle of friends in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

In 1978, she married Richard Lee, who also worked for ARAMCO, at a memorable ceremony in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

After retirement, they lived in Houston and California before indulging their shared love of travel by spending six months in Europe. They retired in South Pasadena, Florida, and continued to entertain their many friends earned over a lifetime of travel and experience.

Eve was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. She is survived by a sister, Chris Renegar, who lives in New Jersey; nephews, Steve Blume, Bruce Gjertsen and Wayne Renegar, and nieces, Pam Fay, Donna Livengood, Terry McNichols, Daryl Allen, and Denise Leifel-Russ.
