Eva Kinga Farnsworth
Eva Kinga Farnsworth passed away peacefully on October 8, 2011 in the company of her three daughters, Eva, Monika and Viktoria.
In the short span of 68 years, Eva lived a full life. She was born in Hungary on May 8, 1943 and immigrated to the United States with her family following the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. All of her life, Eva benefitted greatly from her dual citizenship and enjoyed spending time in Hungary as well as the United States.
Eva was the wonderful hostess of the 2010 Orlando Hafla Aramcon Reunion and loved to travel (Eva Farnsworth Travels to Hungary, Italy and Russia). While she was in Dhahran with Saudi Aramco, she taught travel courses via Adult Education, worked in the emergency room in DHA, and worked in traffic.
Eva will be missed by many people including her three daughters Eva Straka, Monika Straka, and Viktoria Egger and her husband Richard; her sister Ildiko Viczian, her ten grandchildren: Ian Straka, Melanie Roy, Brianne Frayne, Christopher Andreadis, Alanna Frayne, Olivia Egger, Sarah Straka Jiudice, Owen Egger, Wyatt Egger, Audrey Egger, and her soon to be born great grandchild. All who will miss her rejoice that Eva will be reunited with her parents Bela and Eva, and her husband Frank.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 4-7PM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home (2900 Summer Street Stamford, CT). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on 11AM on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at St. Leo Roman Catholic Church (24 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT).
