Ernie Clayton
News of the tragic death of Ernie Clayton has just been received.
Funeral services and burial were held in Oakland, California.
The deceased, formerly a captain in the U.S. Marines was disabled at Guadacanal during the early months of the war. Upon being discharged he came to Arabia with the Bechtel McCone Company and completed his contract here. Death was due to acute appendicitis.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Clayton and one baby son. Mrs. Clayton will be remembered as the former Wanda Mann, who was employed with Aramco as a chief nurse.
