Billy was born to humble circumstances in the deep thickets of East Texas. At that time, his dad made $0.37 an hour driving a school bus. His dad was later hired by Shell, and his family relocated to Pasadena, Texas. Billy cherished his fun years with his buddies in Pasadena Junior and Senior High schools. His continuing education and friendships, in addition to his service to the United States Navy and Utah Air Reserves, were a springboard for his successful life and careers at home and around the world.
