Albert Arthur Fallon
Albert Arthur Fallon (Al) of Phoenix, AZ, late of Henderson, NV, passed away on May 24, 2023 at the young age of 79.
He was born near Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on March 4, 1944 and lived in Yeadon and Upper Darby, Pennsylvania until the family moved to Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. He grew up there and spent High School vacations in Abqaiq until entering College in Florida.
Albert started his working career with the Pennsylvania Railroad. After honorably serving with the Army Scout Dogs in Vietnam, he went to school to become an Electrical Designer and worked at that until hired by Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia where he worked as an Electrical Inspector until his retirement in 1999.
Albert was an avid bowler from his teen years until 2018. His nickname was Bionic Man because of the gadgets he wore on his wrist and arm and his winning scores.
While in Arabia he played softball and coached Little League Baseball. His long-time exercise sport was racquetball at which he was quite good.
His passion was his family, Karen, Stewart and Michele. The love he had for them was unsurpassed. He was a gentleman's gentleman, quiet, kind, and well-liked.
Albert is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Caroline Fallon, his beloved Nanna and PopPop Lesser, and his Aunt Marion Adams and Aunt Betty Semple.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Karen Fallon. Karen and Albert grew up together in Saudi Arabia and knew each other since 1956. He is also survived by his Son, Stewart Fallon PHD and his wife Christina Dunne of Canberra, Australia and his Daughter, Michele Scott MD and her husband, Benjamin Scott of Phoenix, AZ. He had three beautiful (handsome) grand boys, Nate Fallon, Ty Scott and Tanner Scott of whom he was inordinately proud.
His surviving brother, Charles Fallon lives in Virginia, with his wife Carol Fallon and his step-daughters.
He is also survived by his Nephew, Christopher and his wife Kerry Fallon and his grand-nieces Madyson and Ainsley Fallon of Prescott Valley, AZ. His surviving sister-in-law, Sue Fallon lives in Prescott Valley, Az near her son. His Niece, Caroline Fallon DVM, lives in Chicago with her Husband John Mc Cuistion.
He is also survived by his cousins, Robin Semple Lukert and James Semple.
The Family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the Firefighters, hospital staff, Hospice staff and especially River of Love Adult Care Home for their special care of Albert during his trying times.
Interment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on June 30, 2023 at 11am. A reception will follow.
