A Celebration of Robin Fischer's Life

On Friday morning, July 31, 2009, Robin Anne Fischer, age 53, of St. Augustine, Florida in the presence of her beloved family peacefully succumbed to the nine month battle she heroically fought with cancer. Robin and her family arrived in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia in July 1992 where Robin and Michael began a wonderful career as educators with the Saudi Aramco Schools.

Peter J. Van Der Schans, age 82, of Austin, Texas, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Peter worked for Saudi Aramco from 1951 to 1957, and 1962 to 1985. Peter enjoyed sailing, tennis, photography, and was particularly involved in the Junior Tennis Program while in Saudi Arabia as well as during an assignment in Holland.
