I would not say anything is impossible. I think that everything is possible as long as you put your mind to it and put the work and time into it.
~ Michael Phelps
The above quote is best suited to my son Zubair Mohammed Iftekhar, who was born and brought up in Saudi Arabia. At the age of 4, I used to take Zubair to Saudi Aramco’s Najmah swimming pool in Ras Tanura to teach him how to swim. He did not like to do things outside of his comfort zone and swimming was no exception so, as an incentive, I promised to buy him Kabsa-Mandi, a delicious dish. It worked! At the time, I did not know that this little step would be the first among many and would eventually lead him to aquatics as a career.
While pursuing his master’s degree (MS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, he got certified by the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard.
On his return to India, he established a Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) known as Razorfish Swim University and conducts swim competitions apart from providing swim training at Five-star hotels in Hyderabad India.
Diversifying the business, he established Razorfish Getaways holiday home with swimming pool at Shadnagar, which is 45km from Hyderabad at CSK Green Villas.
The grand opening gala dinner on November 15th, 2020 was attended by family and friends.

I would like to invite all Saudi Aramco employees and my colleagues from around the globe to visit and enjoy a stay at Razorfish Getaways on their next visit to India.

I wish my son all the best in his career.
- Swimming is a sport; everything is just a game.
- Swim hard, dream big.
