The Executive Committee of Aramco Retirees Association Pakistan (ARAP) would like to wish a very happy and safe Ramadan to all Muslims around the world.
The Committee held its 2024 second Quarterly meeting at Malik Fazal Mehmood’s residence in OPF Society, Lahore, and reviewed various agenda items as summarized below:
Eid Milan Party – 27 April 2024
The committee reviewed the progress of the Eid Milan Party and agreed to the following items:
Deadline Extension: Given ARAP’s mission of connecting as many people as possible and bringing smiles to their faces, the entry deadline for the Eid Milan Party will be extended till April 20, 2024, as a token of special Eid Al-Fitr Courtesy.
Venue: Riaz Ahmed’s Farmhouse, at Nasheman-e-Iqbal Lahore, was unanimously picked up for the event due to its open/friendly environment and no closing time limitations.
Menu: A diverse cuisine menu including Chicken - Malai Boti, Kabab, Barbeque, Mutton Quorma, Fried Rice, Live diversity of Nans, Water and Cold Drinks, and Dessert – Kulfa was selected to enjoy the evening in an open and star-gazing environment.

The event will begin in the afternoon at 1630 hours with the arrival of the guests. Light refreshments including tea, water, fresh Jalebi, and other items will be served during the socializing and gupshup period. After the President’s welcome address and report, the floor will be opened for a general meeting of the members and open discussions. Dinner with live Nans and barbeque will be served after Maghrib prayers, and family and friends will have the opportunity to exchange their stories from Saudi Arabia, Aramco, and personal life experiences while enjoying the evening cuisine. At the end, the event coordinator will summarize the Eid Milan Party’s overall experience followed by the announcement of ARAP’s next event and closing remarks. The main program will close at 2100 hours, however, the attendees will have the choice to leave or continue enjoying the rest of the evening for a couple of more hours at the Farmhouse.
Recognition for Farouq Ibrahim and His Family

The Executive Committee ARAP extended its appreciation and recognition to Farouq Ibrahim and his family for coordinating an outstanding lunch and a get-together (G2G) on 25th February 2024 at their residence in Faisalabad. The President suggested that ARAP will welcome and encourage other members also to arrange similar gatherings in their areas (individually or jointly) so the members can relax and enjoy their family friend’s company. In case any member or group of members are interested in conducting/coordinating such events, they can submit their offer/proposal on the ARAP’s suggestion form or send details to ARAP through email.
