The Aramco Retirees Association Pakistan (ARAP) successfully completed the initial member registration phase on December 31, 2023, the first 2024 quarterly meeting on January 7, 2024, and approved the following appointments to look after ARAP’s day-to-day affairs and future planning:
Muhammad Idrees congratulated all officers on their appointment and wished them the best of luck. Also, on his proposal, the committee agreed to grant Lifetime ARAP membership to Aramco retiree: Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Warraich.
Syed Naushad Shah was nominated as ARAP Photographer & Media Representative. He will assist in taking photographs and preparing reports for publication including aramcoexpats.com under the directions of the Executive Committee.
The committee also approved the following items:
- ARAP By-Laws, to be used as a guideline to run ARAP affairs. During the review and approval process, Muhammad Idrees expressed his gratitude to SAEEA Karachi, specifically Mr. Arif Qamar, for providing necessary support to ARAP for developing its By-Laws and initial setup.
- Hold Executive Committee meetings on 1st Monday of every quarter.
- Hold Eid Milan Party on April 27, 2024 as announced earlier; more details will be provided to members during February 2024.
- The membership registration will be open from Feb 1, 2024 and interested Pakistani retired, ex and active Aramco employees and one dependent of late employees (one per badge#) can register by clicking on the following link and submitting the completed form: https://forms.gle/WGQChtjKPzQ2QzXbA
