As it was an afternoon wedding, The winter sun cast a warm glow on the lush, manicured garden where white chairs were neatly arranged, and delicate floral arrangements adorned the aisle. The enchanting atmosphere with laughter of the guests and music filled the air and it was quite pleasant as the heat wasn’t overbearing and there was a subtle chill in the air.

The aroma of the delicious lunch wafted through the air, teasing taste buds and building anticipation. We had a diverse range of options to choose from: there was Biryani, Alfredo Pasta, Qorma, Chicken Tikka and Rashmi Kebabs with ice cream as dessert. Food was enjoyed by everyone in the warmth of the late afternoon.

Most of the guests wore an array of pastel hues and had a fun time. Before the dinner, the Nikkah ceremony was also witnessed by all guests where the bride and groom recited their consents to the marriage and signed the official contract called the “Nikaahnama”. There was also a beautiful flower curtain set up as a traditional way of seeing your spouse for the first time as a married couple. The celebration was not just an event but a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the promise of a future filled with happiness and shared adventures.
