4 or 5 boxes chicken parts (legs, thighs or breasts)
Butter or margarine (softened
1 package onion soup mix
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup wine substitute (could be water)
Put chicken in one layer in pan. Brush lightly with softened butter. Sprinkle soup mix and ginger over chicken. Very gently pour over soy sauce and wine substitute mixture, so that you do not wash off the onion soup. Marinate for at least an hour. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 400 degrees.
