Marc Ames Sandin graduates from New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI), in Roswell, NM, on May 16, 2003 with an associate's degree, the rank of 1st Lieutenant, and gained the position of platoon leader. Participating in the vocal ensemble and cadet choir, he and his music ensemble have performed in New York on a Naval aircraft carrier, at the Air Force Academy, Disneyland in California, the New York St. Patricks Day parade with the school band, and opening day of the 2003 Baseball season at Coors Field in Denver, CO. He opened several sporting events at NMMI signing the National Anthem and has written two songs which he is considering publishing. He is singing at a part of the graduation ceremonies in May and received an award for one of his school essays in 2002. Marc also served as student coordinator for all special events contracted to perform at NMMI. Marc and his dad, Tim, are now both graduates of the same school, only 39 yrs. apart.

Marc attended school in Ras Tanura until 1988 when he left with his parents. He is the son of Saudi Aramco Annuitants, Tim and Marsha Sandin.

He will be working for a year and then return to school at either the University of Arizona or Northern Arizona University.
