The two birthday cakes for Nana.
On June 20 2024, Engr. Iqbal Ahmed Khan celebrated his 79th Happy Birthday at his home along with his family members. Nana (my grandfather) was married on 12th January 1975 and was blessed with two lovely daughters: Dr. Kiran Khan and Erum Imran. Iqbal has 5 grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them.

Nana has had a remarkable and successful career at Saudi Aramco, a journey characterized by significant achievements and contributions to one of the world’s largest oil companies.
Alhamdulillah, he was well-paid and could provide for his family in Pakistan as well as offer his daughters the best education. It gratified him to have the means to make donations in support of those in need, never expecting something in return, as he was taught by his father.
Throughout his life, Nana has embodied the essence of hard work. From humble beginnings, he embarked on a journey marked by resilience and unwavering determination. Rising to challenges with a steadfast spirit, he paved a way of success through sheer dedication. His days were defined by early mornings and late nights, tirelessly pursuing his goals and supporting his loved ones along the way. His life serves as a testament to the power of hard work, inspiring all who know him to strive for greatness and embrace life's challenges with courage.

I have always been inspired by Nana; his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering strength have shaped my own aspirations. His ability to turn a mistake into a life lesson and his gentle approach to life's challenges are qualities I deeply admire and strive to achieve. He has been a pillar of support for many, offering guidance with a humble heart. For me, Nana has been a profound mentor, teaching me invaluable life lessons.
Nana usually doesn't celebrate his birthdays, preferring to keep the day simple. However, this year was special as he turned 79, and we encouraged him to celebrate it in a meaningful way.
Nana's birthday wasn't just a milestone; it was a heartfelt tribute to a person who embodies compassion and grace in every way. Here's to many more years of his infectious smile and the profound impact he continues to have on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Nana cut not one, but two cakes surrounded by family members. One cake was brought by Baby Ayra for her Dada Babu and the other was brought by me and my sister, Zoya for Nana.
We are very proud to be his granddaughters and love him dearly. May Allah bless him with unwavering willpower, strength, and many more birthdays to come, INSHALLAH!
