Al Hasa Cookbook - 1976
1 package yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/8 teaspoon ginger
3 tablespoons sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons cooking oil
4 to 4 /12 cups flour
Mix yeast, sugar and water and let stand until it bubbles. Add ginger. Add remaining ingredients and knead lightly. Let rise until double; knead again and divide into 3 loaves.
Put into 3 well greased and floured 1 pound coffee cans. Grease top of bread and let rise until double.
Bake at 350o for 40 to 45 minutes.
Yield: 3 Loaves
