The occasion...
Retired Aramcons, and former Dhahran Tennis Association (DTA) members, converged at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden for the annual BNP Paribas Open, "Tennis Paradise" - and that is certainly an appropriate nickname! Michele Taylor, former DTA President for multiple years, coordinated the gathering after attending previous years and by chance, would run into fellow Aramcons. “I wanted it a bit more planned this time around so everyone could enjoy being together as much as possible”. Several made the trek for some great tennis and weather along with fun times while making new memories. The Sungs even managed to coordinate a friendly early morning match for some! The Open always takes place in early spring, is a relaxed experience with world-class tennis, and we’re hoping others will join in the fun next year.
