In addition, following in the footsteps of Abdullah A. Al Ghamdi, senior vice president of Safety and Industrial Security, Sami A. Ajmi, vice president of Industrial Security Operations, has been appointed with a volunteer leadership role as senior regional vice president of ASIS Middle East and Africa. The role comes with great responsibility for leading the development of the private security industry in partnership with government security services across the region.
ASIS International is a global and diverse community of security practitioners, each of whom has a role in the protection of assets — people, property, and/or information. ASIS members represent virtually every industry in the public and private sectors, and organizations of all sizes.
GSX recognized achievements that follow in the finest traditions of Aramco’s international security contributions to the protection of the world’s energy supply.

It was also noted that he is one of the first individuals to obtain a Certified Protection Professional certification in the region, and voluntarily works to recruit and mentor new leaders. He has made significant contributions at both chapter and regional levels over the past 20 years.
“Aramco’s Industrial Security Operations will continue to lead the security profession in the region and create careers for our own well-trained heroes, equipped with the latest technologies.”
