Aramco Asia India (AAI) has launched the “Global Human Resources Services Hub” at a ceremony recently held in New Delhi.
Faisal A. Al-Hajji, senior vice president for Human Resources, and Mohammed S. Al-Herbish, president of AAI, unveiled the new hub which strives to support talent acquisition, training and development, and out-of-Kingdom assignment functions.
It will also provide Aramco with the required human capital to achieve the company’s strategic objectives and business growth.
After cutting the ribbon for the hub, Al-Hajji reiterated India’s importance to Aramco.
“India is a rich business market and a source for top-notch expertise for the whole world, including Aramco,” he said.
“Through this hub, we are planning to accelerate the attraction of this expertise to supply the company with high-caliber and diverse talent.”
Al-Herbish emphasized Aramco’s long-term commitment to India’s energy security. “With several world-class institutions like India Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology, and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology, India is a great source for top talent, and Aramco is looking to recruit innovative minds from India to further fuel Aramco’s growth engine,” he said.
India has always been a key source of top talent for Aramco and the launching of this function will further enhance the identification, attraction, and retention of the very best human capital India has to offer.
Talent acquisition efforts are already underway at the hub with multiple hiring organizations scheduled to conduct interviews in the weeks ahead targeting critical hiring requirements.
