OAHS Graduation
Jacob Chingo Swayne graduated from Osan American High School - DoDEA at the Osan Air Base in South Korea. The commencement ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. On the Monday night preceding the ceremony, the 2017 graduating class of 33 students and their families were treated to a buffet dinner hosted by OAHS. The evening included the issuing of awards and scholarships to students, and a special video presentation capturing the highlights of their senior year.
Jacob is the son of Aramco Brat Brad Swayne and Carmen Swayne. His sister, Satomi, will be a junior at OAHS in the fall. Vicci Turner and Aramco Annuitant Ken Swayne are his proud grandparents. Aramco Brat Rusty Swayne is his uncle.

Jacob has been active in Tae Kwon Do since he was six years old and has a 4th-degree black belt. Jacob and Satomi spent a year traveling in South Korea on a Tae Kwon Do traveling team giving demonstrations.
Jacob is following in the steps of his grandparents and great-grandparents this fall by attending the University of Idaho where he will pursue a degree in computer science.
