Khoury's Middle Eastern Restaurant
At the end of August an unlikely bunch of 1980’s Aramco teachers, who taught in Dhahran, descended upon the MGM Park, Las Vegas, for a reunion that resembled old home week. Although some of us had not seen each other for nearly 40 years, we picked up right where we left off. Thank you, Aramco and Facebook. Paul (PE teacher Dh. Hills) and Patti Schwisow (teacher at Dh. Hills) and Nancy Errebo (6th grade teacher Dh. Hills) cooked this up with input from a few others. John O’Connor (Vice Principal, Dh. Hills and Principal, Ras Tanura) was responsible for the Eid-like feast that we had at Khoury’s Mediterranean Restaurant in Las Vegas.

Each evening we met in O’Connor’s suite high above the hustle and bustle of the Strip for our "TGIW" happy hours. New friendships were formed, and old ones renewed. The common theme was our love for our years in Arabia and the enduring friendships that commenced there.
