Zelma Mae Mesec
Zelma Mae Mesec, 96, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2016. She was born in Butte, Montana on February 14, 1919 to Lois (Kinkead) and Sherman Williams.
Zelma graduated from Corning High School in Corning, California. She met her husband, Victor Mesec in Portland, Oregon and they married on December 21, 1949. They were married almost 60 years. She led an interesting life living in Montana, California, Washington, Oregon and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Zelma worked for the WPA, Rocketdyne, Hughes Aircraft, Aramco, Westinghouse and various other places. She was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away in 2006; her brother-in-law, Ernest Mesec; and her parents.
A celebration of her life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29 at Peoples Church in Salem, OR.
