Vilawan Sonntag
Vilawan (Vi) Sonntag, 75, of Ocoee, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at her home in Ocoee, Florida, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on August 15, 1943 in Phanat Nikhom, Cholburi, Thailand, the daughter of the late Luan Lau Prasert and Chin (Phen Pree Pram) Lau Prasert.
Vi was a loving wife to her husband of 51 years, Albert E. (Al) Sonntag, dedicated mother to her four sons Sudkiat (Boom), Navi, Albert W. (Bill) and Carl J. (Joe) Sonntag, and adoring grandmother to Emily Nicole, Evelyn Michelle, Edward William, Allison Kayne and Ty Edward Sonntag.
She is survived by her husband, Al, three sons, Boom Sonntag of Winter Park, Florida, Navi Sonntag of Ocoee, Florida and Bill Sonntag of Fort Myers, Florida as well as three sisters Pi Yai, Pao, and Nong Lek, one brother Tao, and many loving nieces and nephews of Thailand.
Al Sonntag worked for Saudi Aramco's Training Department from 1979 to 1991. During their time in Dhahran, Vi Sonntag was known for her wonderful cooking.
