Tobb Dell'Oro Perishes in Iran Earthquake

The hotel in downtown Bam collapsed at 5:30 a.m., December 26th. Their tour guide and driver pulled them from the rubble just minutes after the earthquake and transported them to a clinic 30 kilometers away. Adel is in recovery at the Tehran hospital after extensive surgery. Tobb sustained severe chest injuries and blood loss. He passed away at a clinic near Bam.

Tobb is the son of annuitants, Walter and Jean Dell'Oro of California. He is also survived by his sister Tamm Dell'Oro of California and his brother Torr Dell'Oro, Saudi Aramco Aviation employee. Tobb graduated from Dhahran Junior High in 1977.
