Tiny Culler
Tiny P. Culler, a former employee of the Loss Prevention Department, of Saudi Aramco, and wife of Tom Culler former employee of Saudi Aramco, passed away on March 19, 2019.
Tiny Poythress Culler, 84, a resident of 141 Tiny Lane, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Maria Parham Health. Born on February 10, 1935 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ashton Poythress and Verla Jacobs Poythress; and was the granddaughter of aviation pioneer, Georgia "Tiny" Broadwick. Tiny was a homemaker and worked in risk management for twenty-five years while she and her husband lived in Saudi Arabi. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints where funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM by Bishop Ray Kinnin. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Monroe Culler, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Mischa C. Dillon of Wake Forest and Tracey C. Kimbrell (Jay) of Henderson; one brother, Jerry Poythress (Rachel) of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Colby D. Scherbel, Katelyn K. Calk, Madison P. Dillon, Chase M. Dillon, Reed T. Kimbrell, Blair D. Kimbrell, and Lindsey J. Kimbrell; and one great granddaughter, Maylie Scherbel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dixie P. Young and Edna P. Ellington; and two brothers, Carlton Poythress and Dale Poythress. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church. At other times they will be at the home of Jay and Tracey Kimbrell at 67 Tiny Lane.
