Susan McCormick
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and wife, Susan McCormick, 79, of Lake Oswego, Oregon. Susan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 7th, 2023.
Born in Yakima, Washington on September 9th, 1944 to Kenneth and Katherine Lite, Susan is survived by her husband, three children, five grandchildren, and two brothers.
In 1963, she met Keith McCormick in Portland, OR, where they were soon wed the following year. In January of 1971, Susan moved to Saudi Arabia with her family where she primarily lived for the next 29 years. During her time in the Middle East, Susan was active in various clubs, community work and social activities. She loved to travel the world with family and share the discovery of new places. She also had a passion for home decorating, fashion, and a love of animals. She resided in Lake Oswego, Oregon for the past 23 years.
She is survived by her husband, Keith McCormick, two daughters, Kelly (Mike) Hudson of Beaverton, OR, Kristy (Harold) McCormick-White of Scottsdale, AZ, and son, Keith McCormick (Jeanette) of Ramstein AB, Germany. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jake Woods, Conner Hudson, Amber Hudson, Katherine McCormick, and Adrian McCormick.
Susan was a kind and loving mother, wife, and friend to many and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held in January.
