Robert Rawls
Robert (Bob) Rawls, age 74, passed away July 26, 2021. He was born February 17, 1947 in Florala the son of Rufus Rawls and Ruth King Rawls. Bob joined the U.S. Army and faithfully served his country in Vietnam. After serving his country he worked as an electrical engineer working for Saudi Aramco in the oil industry until retiring to take care of his wife Susan in 2007. Bob lived life to the fullest whether it was cheering on the Miami Dolphins or the Florida State Seminoles or watching his grandson, Stephen race motor cross and he loved every second of it. He was a collector of antique cars and a loved western movies especially those with Clint Eastwood. Bob was an incredible husband, father, "PaPa" and teacher for his entire family. He was preceded in death by wife, Susan Rawls; father, Rufus Rawls; mother, Ruth King Rawls.
He is survived by son Tony Rawls, grandchildren, Ashley and Stephen Rawls, great grandchildren, Noah, Alexis and Leilani Rawls.
Memorial services for Robert (Bob) Rawls will be 2PM Sunday August 1, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Ray Bundy officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
