Robert C. Lammey
Robert C. Lammey, 78, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away peacefully and totally unexpected on December 28, 2016.
He was born in Wilmington, DE, on April 28, 1938, the only son of the late Charles and Grace (née Harper) Lammey and grew up in Claymont, DE.
He was a graduate of Salesianum High School (56), and University of Delaware (60). He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer, by Bethlehem Steel, Bethlehem, PA, Armstrong, Lancaster, PA, Goodyear Tire and Rubber working in Akron, OH and Cali, Columbia, Aramco, Saudi Arabia from 1973 - 1980, and retiring from Sun Oil in Marcus Hook, PA, in 1992.
He moved from Wilmington to Port Charlotte, FL in 1998 to fulfill a life long wish to live in Florida and ride his golf cart to the golf course, playing golf as much as he wished.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Philippa. He lived life to the fullest and travelled the world with Philippa.
He did not wish any service to be held and he is now playing golf with the angels.
