Rebecca Jean Onnen Eichelberger
With great sorrow, we announce that Rebecca Jean Onnen Eichelberger (Becky Onnen of Ras Tanura and Dhahran) passed away on April 22, 2020. We think it was probably cancer. Her symptoms were very different from Covid-19. She was born in 1958 and would have been 62 in May.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia Onnen, sisters, Sally Duncan, Mary Jane Onnen (Ken Bus), Amy Lynn (Mike), Jennifer McDaniel (David), two sons, Tim (Lorrie) Lemire and Henry Lemire, as well as 4 grandchildren and her husband Jeff Eichelberger. She was predeceased by her father, John Onnen. We never expected Becky would leave us so soon.
Becky was a loyal friend and loved her Aramco family so very much. She made friends everywhere she went and is remembered fondly by life long friends as well as people she worked with and met in Texas.
This couldn't have happened at a worse time and it was terrible not to be able to see her in the hospital, but fortunately her husband found a way in and so she was not alone. He said she went to sleep and passed very peacefully. It is thanks to her husband, Jeff, that her last years have been so happy and filled with the things she loved to do - diving and being at home with him, the love of her life, gardening, and taking care of her best friend, Buddy. Because of the pandemic, we are unable to announce services at this time.
